Naheed will be presenting the session “Privacy & Cyber Security Primer for Legal Professionals” on April 18th.
ARMA Houston equips records managers, information governance, and compliance professionals to better impact their organization’s business strategies and objectives. The conference engages in teaching and exploring information governance issues from the Legal, Financial, Operational, and Technical aspects at its monthly meetings and annual conferences. ARMA Houston’s continuing mission is to provide educational and research opportunities to advance the improvement of Records and Information Management practices.
Naheed’s session will review trends and court cases addressing these topics and others of which organizations and their clients should be aware, along with recommendations for addressing the issues. Attendees will leave this program knowing how to be prepared for compliance regulations, how privacy laws have been enacted, what they dictate, what/where to expect next, and how data privacy applies to everyone, not just privacy practitioners.
Naheed has established privacy programs for several organizations and serves as a privacy consultant to clients. She advises organizations of all sizes with different risk profiles and levels of privacy maturity and has held the VP of IT, CISO, and other leadership positions. She holds numerous security, privacy, and technical process certifications, including CIPM, CISA, CISM, CDPSE, PMP, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, and ITIL, and she is a Six Sigma Black Belt. Naheed works directly with Innovative Driven’s clients in the U.S. and internationally to address increasingly complex privacy issues and regulations.
Naheed specializes in operationalizing privacy programs so organizations stay up-to-date on compliance laws and regulations.
