Community Giving

ID has a deep corporate and personal commitment to community and giving back. The primary focus of ID’s corporate philanthropic efforts are nonprofit organizations valued by our employees. ID employees have several causes close to their heart.

  • ID Civic PrIDe Day : Enjoy a Day to Make a Difference

ID Civic Day was created to encourage our ID team to give back to the community. In addition to our standard PTO, employees now have an additional paid day off to use for community service. Please take time to consider meaningful ways you can make an impact and enjoy this time away from work.

  • Employee Charity Matching

Many of our employees are intimately involved in causes important to them, from helping the homeless to working with animals. ID matches employee donations and investments of their time to organizations they support, and we’re proud to have supported a long list of organizations over the years, including organizations that fight hunger, working to find a cure for cancer, providing educational opportunities to youth, and much more.

  • Foundation Fighting Blindness

ID has made a significant impact in the community that seeks to end blindness. With our sponsorship for the annual Scramble for Sight Golf Tournament, we support the mission of the Foundation Fighting Blindness to drive the research that will provide preventions, treatments, and cures for people affected by retinitis pigmentosa, age-related macular degeneration, Usher syndrome, and the entire spectrum of retinal degenerative diseases. Together, we are winning.

  • ID built website for Climbing Blind Tibet expedition

ID was a proud sponsor of “Climbing Blind: Tibet Expedition”. Climbing Blind was created by Erik Weihenmayer, the first blind person to summit Mt. Everest. On the expedition, he led a group of blind Tibetan teenagers to the summit of a 23,100 foot peak on the north side of Mt. Everest. Climbing Blind, a non-profit organization, was created to overcome the misconceptions of the blind and to not place limitations on people with disabilities.

  • Steps for Autism

April is World Autism Month, dedicated to increasing awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorder. ID always loves the opportunity to bring light to a wonderful cause, which is why we created our team challenge, Steps for Autism. Department-based teams face off to get the most steps in the month of April. Walks around our neighborhoods, our weekly grocery store trip, an evening jog – every step counts! The team with the most steps will win bragging rights and Innovative Driven will donate on their behalf to Autism Society.
